Our Story

Jack Buck Farms is a 150 year old but progressive farming business based in Moulton Parish, Lincolnshire.

Today we farm on around 1800 acres of the best silt land in the country, growing a range of vegetable and flower crops, some common and some less so.

Our celeriac brand, ‘The Ugly One’ is a familiar sight in the UK market place. We’re dedicated to providing customers with the very highest specification produce backed up by a total traceability system and continuity of supply. We aim to grow our crops to the highest standards of productivity whilst maintaining a strong environment policy and good long term employment conditions for our staff.

A Year on the farm

We are busy for 12 months of the year.

It starts and ends with our two main crops, daffodils and celeriac, but there is so much in between. Month by month our farming guide details the hectic life on a British arable and flower farm.
